I’m sure there’s only a small portion of my readership that enjoys a nice furry husky boy stripping and ripping out of a cheap santa suit… but I sure do enjoy it.

Just because he’s chronologically of age, that doesn’t it any less creepy. I present you with Super Chicken: methadone for the modern day pederast.
MMM. tacos. I eat like a pig, I know… But you know you want some…
courtesy of my favorite Indiana Blog Daddy Bil, here’s another look at Spike Jonze’s new film, this time with something a little scarier, and a littler dirtier… hipsters.

I’ve only managed to get one other person to “surf” with me on the Google Wave Preview. Its not that I don’t have a lot of friends, just none of my friends have invites. Therefore, I haven’t had a whole lot of chances to really interact, but I can definitely see where it’s going to be a pretty major tool in 2010. That is… if Wave launches in 2010. Robert Scoble booed the launch, calling it overhyped… I just think he’s a fat old overhyped complainer with too many friends and not enough who actually like him. Wave is extremely complex, and the possibilities are nearly endless for what it can achieve when complete. For now, we just sit and tinker, patiently, hoping for more friends to play with…
And if you are reading this and still have no idea what Google Wave is, watch this most excellent of concise explanations below. And no, I don’t have any more invites. (via Gizmodo)
Like. seriously. this is some bullshit. fer real. This Obama, he’s trying to ban flavored dips. Just listen to this guy, he’s really pissed off.
Actually, he just signed a bill that will ban flavored tobacco and wraps.
I don’t think it’s all that bad, those flavored cigarettes are disgusting and really bad for you (like cloves). However, if blunt wraps are going to survive, they need to be tobacco-less and marketed for marijuana, which I think will be pretty difficult. The funny thing is that I don’t know if dip is banned, just the smoking tobacco. Either way, this guy is pissed off.

A year ago, I posted about this 19 year old composer who took samples from Alice in Wonderland to create a totally new rabbit hole of sound. He’s been working on some new stuff and just released his latest track, “Bangarang,” created from the 1991 Spielberg movie Hook.
Pogo’s work extends beyond simple sampling and glitch work, he actually takes video clips from the referenced movie to create something as visually masterful as it is audibly.
In my short young life, I have been blessed with the friendship of a few Finlandians in my life, though my contact with Topi ended shortly after his conscription started (PS. I’m total supporter of conscription in the US, though it would never happen, I think it would be a positive discipline builder for all American youth, comrade). Fins are pleasantly odd, from their affinity to dreadlock hair, to their even greater love for saunas.

Thomas Hilland is a Partizan film director who has done loads of advertorial work for companies like Adidas, Nike, Toyota, and even music videos for Röyksopp. He recently completed a documentorial short film called Sweat, which follows the story of Timo, a professional sauna champion. One would think that there is little competition to sitting in a sauna, however at 140 degrees centigrade, it appears that only the Fins can master such scorching temperatures. The trailer is absolutely wonderful to watch, and not just to see a bunch of blonde-locked sweaty lobster-skinned men boil in a tiny little room. Run over to It’s Nice That to read a short interview with Hilland about the film, and check out the trailer for Sweat over at Partizan.

Kingdom of the unreal but also a higher state of being, ultimately free of the limitations of the material world through the agency of science, technology, and imagination.
This video is a near perfect idea, executed with perfection. check out www.neurosonicsaudiomedical.com for more info and credits
The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s have been cool since “Maps,” check out their latest single below, “Heads will Roll.”
I do love the DIGIRAATII remix though.
