Röyksopp + Robyn + Robots = a pretty slick music video for “The Girl And The Robot.”
I really love Robyn’s voice, and even though her hair makes me giggle, her performance in front of a camera (or stage) rules.
“The Girl And the Robot” is the second single from their latest Album “Junior,” and the EP holds several remixes from the likes of Ocelot, Joakim, Jean Elan, Kris Menace, and Spencer & Hill. The US release for “The Girl And The Robot” is June 16th, do it.
The only reality show I care about this year is So You Think You can Dance. The format is like American Idol, but with dancers, ya know, people with real talent and their own styles, The music featured on the show is anything but sugar pop, I heard Lady Gaga last night, and almost shit my pants when last night’s opener was to “Cobrastyle” by Robyn. Check it out. the choreography was by Wade and Amanda Robson.
If you live in the US, there is a good chance you haven’t heard of Robyn. If you listen to XM BPM (#81), then there’s a glimmer of hope for you yet. Remixes of “With Every Heartbeat” and “Handle Me” are currently playing a few times throughout the day. And Why? Cause this girl is the shit.
“You cannot stop this. You cannot escape it and you cannot turn it off. So, I’d appreciate your kind consideration in this matter, Sir or Mam, would you please turn it the FUCK UP.

Oh Hai! I'm Nate and I live in the sometimes beautiful, always exciting, city of Buffalo, NY. I'm not too focused on this blog, but you'll probably end up reading something about Buffalo, my toy obsession, burly bears, club drama, Google Android, and some damn good music. This is my blog. Read it. Cheers.
