I was wondering what Jack White was doing these days... apparently a part of the new group The Dead Weather, formed from Alison Mosshart (of The Kills), guitarist Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and bassist Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes), and Jack of course. "Treat Me Like Your Mother" is their latest single and the video was directed by the legendary Jonathan Glazer. I wonder who gave the go for this, or does a Glazer video mean that its ok to have guns in a music video?

Röyksopp + Robyn + Robots = a pretty slick music video for "The Girl And The Robot."
I really love Robyn's voice, and even though her hair makes me giggle, her performance in front of a camera (or stage) rules.
"The Girl And the Robot" is the second single from their latest Album "Junior," and the EP holds several remixes from the likes of Ocelot, Joakim, Jean Elan, Kris Menace, and Spencer & Hill. The US release for "The Girl And The Robot" is June 16th, do it.
I've been on a video hunt lately... Here's Fischerpooner's newest single "We Are Electric." I'm always excited when a new video drops from that group because Casey Spooner and Warren Fischer are amazing video artists and their ideas always come out win. In fact, part of the reason Fischerspooner makes music is to soundtrack their performances.
The new music video for Fischerspooner's album Entertainment. Directed / Edited by Jason Cacioppo & Adam Dugas through Subvoyant. Director of photography Jason Cacioppo, imaged with RED ONE in New York City at the historic Performing Garage. DI color correction and RED services by Offhollywood, colorist Robbie Renfrow.
In the video, singer Casey Spooner wears the iconic hat featured on the Entertainment album cover created by Nasir Mazhar and Lite Brite neon. Lite Brite also created the neon sculptures featured as set pieces. Casey wears fashions by Jil Sander, Gareth Pugh and Romain Kremer. Andrew Schneider created the video mouth helmet.

I haven't heard anything fresh from The Pet Shop Boys since 2006. "Love Etc." is a great new single and the music video is well done. Visit the youtube page to watch in HD.
Oh Hai! I'm Nate and I live in the sometimes beautiful, always exciting, city of Buffalo, NY. I'm not too focused on this blog, but you'll probably end up reading something about Buffalo, my toy obsession, burly bears, club drama, Google Android, and some damn good music. This is my blog. Read it. Cheers.
