Giant LCD Clock: Check Time From Space
Charlie Sorrel from Gadget Lab was visiting the Berlin’s Hamburger Bahnhof Museum and this caught his eye just before he left. He has this to say: Its Huge.
- The piece runs on pneumatics, with a separate piston for each panel, and in the museum silence there is a loud hiss every minute as the display changes. I have no idea who designed it, and as you can see from the picture, it was just before the 6PM closing time, so I didn’t ask. Did I say it’s big?
