When A Dreamcatcher Dies…

07.03.2009 @ 12:01 PM in Lifestream

Alma

Angel’s cat, Alma, died yesterday, we buried her under the lilies in the front yard. He asked me to post her picture… sorry for the quality, but thats what he gave me.

Losing a pet is rough, but for Angel its a bit harder. Alma has been a sort of dreamcatcher for Angel, a spiritual guide for him, if you will. They’ve been a team for a over dozen years, now Angel has to find the dreams on his own. Not all is lost, Skylar is filling in the interim… he’s good at sleeping.

Pub Crawls and Penises

The pubcrawl went fabtabular; couldn’t ask to have more fun with my friends. Amanda and Andrew are great people and you should definitely make Splash Panic! a stop when you are on the 800 block of Elmwood. They’re right next to Angel’s shop, Sai One at 818 Elmwood.

I suppose I could explain the photo booth pictures… mainly the one on the left. I don’t know what possessed me to whip out my cock but then again, those who know me understand I can get naked for any occasion. Either way, I censored out the goods simply because my family likes to stalk me (hi dad!)  and I’d rather not subject them to that. But I totally love freedom of expression attention, so if you want to see it, just ask to be friended on my flickr account and I’ll see what I can do… its just a flaccid penis dangled precariously close to a pretty blonde girl’s open mouth… and forced perspective does a lot to fool the eye.

Munny Hoodie

11.08.2008 @ 3:50 PM in Lifestream

Brainstorming with Angel over Munny customs, we whipped up this little
hoodie for one of the blue DIY’s I have laying around Sai One. Kinda bunchy,
but really cute. #snap

Insurgent Wilderness Group zipper pulls

10.31.2008 @ 6:07 PM in Lifestream

I sorta retired the old “Buffawhat” bag, and I’m now using a Coach briefcase
that Angel lent/gave me. It holds my Macbook Pro nice and snug, and gives me
a little more hipster cred.

And with a new bag comes new zipper pulls. I tranfered the pink “things that
hurt” bullet from the old bag and picked up a couple of the new IWG pulls
from Hero. A couple skulls and a jacktoothed bear, what a perfect match for
me. #snap

BuffaView – Tarot sketch

08.26.2008 @ 9:03 AM in Lifestream

What you are looking at is a small thumbnail of a Tarot card, designed by Chris from Divine Machine Tattoo. Its pretty rad ass, and as soon I get it scanned and touched up, it will adorn Angel’s business cards. #snap

Snap! – poor man’s feast

08.19.2008 @ 9:36 PM in Lifestream

We haven’t had Angel’s mom cook for us in a while, so I was very delighted for the chance to stop by afterwork. Its a simple plate of rice, eggs, and plaintains, but man is it tasty. There won’t be any napping, however, because the two sleepy chairs now live with us. #snap

Hot Bear du Jour – Randiski

08.10.2008 @ 8:20 PM in Lifestream

Angel and I had to kill some time after bug bombing the house, so we are hanging with Randall at Staples bar. he’s so hot and he does our tattoos #snap

BuffaView -My Face

07.18.2008 @ 8:58 AM in Lifestream

Im really enjoying this phase(?) of trimming everything all short and neat. Its cool, its clean, and the laydies love it! Of course, props to Angel, my in house barber.

Snap! – Laid out.

06.27.2008 @ 6:30 PM in Lifestream

Angel and I are trying to catch a quick nap before we head out to see Wanted at the Dipson, downtown on Main St. Sometimes the floor is the most comfortable thing for me. Every joint in my body needs a good massage or a nice stretch. That, or I need to get laid.

More Metro Blues

06.26.2008 @ 8:05 PM in Lifestream

My life operates on consistency. Im a slave to my routine, and when that routine is threatened I get upset. Sometimes its a little odd, like when I got out of wack when Angel came home late and I needed him at the house on time. But what I absolutely can not stand is when the buses are off schedule.

All week, the NFTA Metro has been completely unreliable and today I lost almost two hours of my already spent day waiting next to a stop sign for a #6 to come. Its terrible; my normal bus is at 6:12, and since I knew the current state of the route, I walked out at 6:02. I have the benefit of my work being right on the block of a bus stop, but that did no good today. As soon as I started down lincoln, I noticed the #6 had already passed my stop and was going down the road. Pissed, but whatever, I wait for the next bus, at 6:52.
7pm I call NFTA support and get into an argument about the reliability of the #6 line as he tells me the bus that was supposed to be here is broke down. Agitated and helpless, I wait for whatever next bus is supposed to relieve it. 7:35 I’m picked up.

I wish that this was an isolated incident and Im just having a bad day, but in reality the NFTA busses break down a lot on heavy routes like the 6 and the scheduling all but falls to pieces when the seasonal schedules take effect. A mass transportation company like the Niagara Frontier Transportation Association in the midst of the gas fiasco has an obligation to provide an adequate service, and they fail on a regular basis.

The trouble thing is that for a lot of Buffalonians, like me, there is no alternative.
