On the weekend impending

Mike’s birthday is this weekend. He’s turning 27… or 28. All I know is that this weekend will involve a lot of alcohol, and I get to spend some cuddle time with him.

I’m anticipating headaches, hangovers, and drunken sex.

Validation

After over eight months in my isolated dungeon of a computer lab, I finally get a phone. I probably won’t use it, and I will grow to hate my new availability; but its validation. I have my own extension and voicemail, too. They must have forgotten to order me the one with the LED screen, but I don’t really need to see my name in lights on my shiny black multi-line Sprint Business phone now, do I?

Going mobile maybe?

I’ve noticed that I’m starting to enjoy posting via flickr shots. Upside: I’m not always at my computer when I want to post something… so I can get it out at that moment. Downside: I’m limited to 400 characters and the cameraphone I have is a bit shoddy…

Buffawhat is definitely going to be more active in january.. I’m working on a new theme, and I really want to get my feeds up.. that means a whole lot of working the blogosphere.

Saw this on my way out of the galleria mall tonight, tacked on the back of a Kia. Made me think for a second, only Christians are precious cargo?

So I’m no longer single, but I’m not as attached as I hoped.

I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Mike for a while, and I never really knew if he wanted to date, or just be casual sex partners.

Damage report

I would like to take a moment of silence right now to remember my fallen monitors, peripherals, and one brave IBM PIII 450 desktop that were taken so tragically over the weekend.

OK, that aside, I can’t wait till I can get my mother ‘effin replacements. My staff computer, though heavily pelted, came out on top, and unscathed.

We still don’t know where the water came from on the second floor bathroom that made it fuck my day up Monday.

What a Monday to show up for… I should have called in. The mens bathroom above my lab flooded somehow over the weekend and subsequentially dropped water and ceiling tiles on top of my unsuspecting computer lab. Four computers got soaked, and everything on my desk drenched as well. I hate Mondays.

Boneheaded Move

I somehow managed to overwrite my stylesheet on the blog and I don’t have a local copy to replace it with. Oh well. I guess it was time for a change.. Here is a new style (not created by me) that I will be tweaking and molestering until it is sufficiently suitable to replace the old one…

By the way, I was trying to upload a css file for this.

AOL just released the use of some sexy AJAX driven AIM API code, I had to get a key and pop something up.

Gotta love the country sometimes. Had the best weekend: home-cooked food, did all my laundry, hung out with family… and no sirens or crackheads for two days.
