Ok, so I'm sure this guy isn't really a bear, he looks hairless... but he's
cute with a bit of a belly.. and he gave my rec group the rest of his bucket
o' balls. For that he gets a nod. #snap

Have to give thanks to Microsoft for giving away Office 2008 Special Media
Editon to all the bloggers who attended the summit this weekend. I've been
really needing to buy this for Mac; its good to see them reaching out even
when the percentage of macs to PCs for attendees was 3:1. #snap

One of my new fierce blogger buddies, Eric Leven, from KnuckleCrack. He's been so much fun to talk to and really helped me gain some confidence about blogging with a passion. He's also not too bad a dancer, but more on that a little later. Eric also blogs for the Bilerico Project, and he's really motivated about spreading information about HIV/AIDs, safe sex, and other bits of important LGBT activism. Blogroll this foo! #snap

DC-A-Go-GO: “Milk” Panel Discussion excerpts

12.06.2008 @ 11:42 AM in Lifestream
Here's a clip of a few questions answered after the "Milk" screening last night. Screenwriters Bruce Cohen and Dustin Lance Black, along with Cleve Jones (creator of the NAMES Aids quilt project), answered questions about making the film, as well as what went wrong with prop 8, who is to blame, and how to move forward. Post "Milk" Screening Panel Discussion from Nathan Strang on Vimeo. "Milk" moved me in ways I never thought it would. I think the film was expertly composed and directed, and Sean Penn deserves the credit for an amazing performance. It really showed me how real this fight is for rights and simple enjoyment of a livelihood that I, too, want to enjoy.

I'm also sitting in between Father Tony and Eric Levan. Time for me to Man up much?
