Nice… I never lost power, but the boiler isn’t on in my building. So, I am freezing to death; and sick because of it. I’m not really complaining, I’ve been though enough hurricanes and floods down south that I feel like I could take a break form one natural disaster at least.
It’s too cold to type… I’m at work, and we don’t know what to do… I guess tomorrow will be a free for all

Google looking to Assimilate YouTube for 1.6 Billion
Completely unconfirmed here, but I read over at Techcrunch that a few hushed whispers are going around that Google may be in the final stages of Acquiring YouTube - for 1.6 Billion - into its family of power player web services.
Silicon valley has been in a tizzy about the previous news that YouTube was looking to be bought, and worries were that NewsCorp would snatch them up. Fears of a MySpace-Video spam 3.0 machine were quickly soothed when NewsCorp announced they had no interest in the video community site.
Google would benefit greatly from this sale, seeing that Google video was almost immediately trumped by YouTube’s popularity. We must wait and see.
The DVD Rewinder, I’ll take three
I don’t know about you guys, but I have a few DVD’s on my shelf. Literally, five DVD’s. But regardless of how minuscule my library is, I am plagued by having to manually rewind “Smell of a Man (NSFW)” time after time; it makes me just that much more exhausted.
