I posted earlier about the awesomely squeaky Durex condoms commercial, and have taken to throwing it up at the club as a sort of PSA. Of course, I couldn’t just put it up as is:
Durex: Get it On (remix) from Nathan Strang on Vimeo.

Skylar and I are serious cuddlers, and we both crave the middle of the bed. I feel bad for John when he comes to visit, because he has to fight for room on the single bed. we all fit though.
Skylar is so prissy, he has to sleep on a pillow. He’s not content to be buried under the sheets, he wants to be right up next to my head, with his head on the pillow, just like me. If I ever roll over, he’s like a bowling ball in a water bed (visualize it), cramming up next to me and impossible to relocate with any force less than a complete lift in the air.
This Silent Portrait is going to be a regular thing (as regular as any meme on this blog, I suppose).
You can also see photos of the tussle into position with skylar here. #tweetit
I found this video this morning and I don’t know much about it except its directed by Oren Lavie and freakin amazing. All stop-motion, with clothing for props.
A week ago, I asked you, readers, if ya’ll wouldn’t mind contributing to a birthday fund so I could purchase the SDCC 2008 Frank Kozik Salary Ika Clear/Money Filled Colorway. Within an hour, 2 sweet, blog-reading sugar daddies dropped the neccesary fundage to make my wish come true.
Salary Ika came in the mail today, and its more awesome than I thought. I also promised pictures…

And its actual US Currency that’s shredded, making up the guts of the Salary Ika.

Today’s the day, an ObamaNation starts in just a little bit. I’m sure everyone is glued to live coverage of the Inauguration, so I won’t say much, but here is a video to help get the party started:
Daft Punk vs. Adam Freeland – “Aer OBAMA” from Gold Greendot on Vimeo.
The following is a mixed-media stop motion music video and celebration commemorating the election and inauguration of Barack Obama as the forty-fourth president of these United States. Audibly showcasing Adam Freeland’s remix of Daft Punk’s “Aerodynamic” and the imaginative stylings of forward thinking toy artists Dalek, Bill McMullen and Kubrick to name just a few. Independently animated and directed by the progressive minds of the directing team GOLD, the piece is a labor of love that invites everyone to join in or create their own celebration this coming Tuesday January the 20th.
I can’t think of anything more awesome than Daft Punk, Vinyl, and Obama mixed together.
