*Note: While yes, St. Patrick’s Day is Tuesday, people in the Buffalo rock out the Sunday before with a parade and massive public drinking bingefest. This is the telling of events on Sunday.

I’m never up for the St. Paddy’s Day Celebration Drunktardathon. The parade passes by and I’m fast asleep, not waking till 4-5pm. When I finally rustle, it’s to a wasteland Elmwood Village, pillaged and plundered by fratboys and orange skinned women. The trashing is so bad and ridiculous that last year someone busted Hero and Sound’s front window and made off with a buttload of Labbits. Because of that, I pledged to help Mark and Beth “guard the fort” this year… to brave the muffin tops and sidewalk peeings, and have a little bit of fun in the process.

The Avant is one of my favorite "new" structures in Buffalo. I really love
the transformation from frumpy government structure to Sleek and modern
glass tower… can’t wait till August! #snap

After the tragedy last year when a drunken frat boy busted one of Hero’s
windows, Mark, Beth, and I are staking out the shop and heckling the crowd.
Frat boys everywhere and tragic women in tights… #snap

The one issue I have with the crowd at Marcellas is that it doesn’t matter
how awesome your set is, if you don’t play Rihanna, Flo Rida, Beyonce,
Britney, Kelly, or TI, they will: 1) bug you to death. 2) tell you to stop
playing techno. 3) try to school you on how awesome the song is that they
want you to play. 4) leave. #snap

Spent a little time at Hero Design on 93 Allen st. yesterday. Picked up a
stuffed steak, some windup owls, and a few zipper pulls. The Zipper Pulls
are "let’s hang," a new cute series from Kidrobot. I have the Pills hanging
from the free button that came with the steak pillow. More pictures later to

I saw some woofy construction workers grinding lines and dropping cable into
the parking lot of the soon to be Price Rite. I was too distracted by the
dust covered biceps to figure it out until I saw the painted lines the next
day. Seems Price Rite is prepared for the war on stolen carts with Some next
level force field technology that transforms stray carts into convienent
sitting implements when taken past the No Cart Zone. I hate to be the guy
with the little fob that unlocks them only to have to drag them back from
North and Elmwood. #snap

I always wanna rush the Thursday before payday, but its the longest day at
work for me. A few meetings today, and lots of webby work after. Then, I
have to head down to Marcellas to tape the drag show. Sometimes I hate being
reliable, but doing odd jobs for Richard ensure my right to be a drunken
freeloader. #snap

Ben is a friend of the Ole Wondermoth and we’ve met a bunch of times, always
around food and fellowship. Ben has this amazing full beard and is always
smiling… he lives with his gf in the suburbs. #snap

The best part of this picture is that the stupid archaic Artvoice billboard
looks to be ripping off from the bottom. Thanks wind! Maybe they’ll replace
it with something a bit more current… like Terrell Owens or something (I
made a football reference! Str8points ++2) #snap.

I’m always amazed at Skylar’s ability to be comfortable in the most
awkward positions… then again, I’m a cuddle monster too, I’m known
to snuggle up in weird ways myself… just without my legs in the
air… cause that’d be gay. #snap
