And sure its cruel to declaw a cat, and far too late in Skylars life to think about it, but damn his paws do damage when he kneeds into my chest, face, or anything else he decides to lay on. #snap

Jay is so fucking sweet. From time to time he suprises me with things, like this sweet zip-up from Arc'Teryx (his favorite outdoorwear brand)... he rules, and I don't think I could be any happier right now. Thanks buddy! #snap.

Whats this to the left? Its a QR-Code, a 2d barcode that holds text information like vCards, poems, or even links to the Beta release of Brightkite's Android app. Since the launch of Android and the G1 last year, BKiter's like myself have been wondering where the Android app was. Well, out of no where yesterday, Brighkite uploaded this code to their feed with a simple hint: "try it on your Android phone using the barcode Scanner app." If you have a G1, or a Magic, or whatever, use Barcode Scanner (download it from the market for free if you don't have it already) and grab the direct link to the APK. You may need to have the setting checked on your phone to allow installs from unknown sources... This is a beta, but it seems pretty full featured and awesome already. Its fast and accurate, and looks almost exactly like the mobile application (i.brightkite.com). Expect the official app to drop into the market either this month or next... I don't see what else they have to test. Thanks Brightkite!

P.S - Brightkite is like twitter for your locations. You can check into a place, upload photos, make comments and see people in your area.

The Bash 09, the Buffalo Red Cross's annual fundraiser drunkathon might not be so wild this year. Why? Well, tickets now say "unlimited food and two drink tickets..." WTF? The whole point of Mash Bash (can't really call it that anymore... damn lawyers), er... Bash is the free (albeit warm) Blue and Box Wine. You're supposed to get fucking smashed, pee in bushes, and rock out to Lance Diamond... it takes more than two drinks for me to enjoy the Diamond, and for 50 bucks, I better get more than a few dozen sausage dogs in my belly. I don't know the actual reasons for this (economy shouldn't be an excuse people), but it might have something to do with how wild and messy the party gets. Oh well, so much for my annual blackout... perhaps I'll actually remember it all this year. #snap.

One of the joys of my job is that I get paid to take groups of individuals (I work with people with developmental disabilities) out on beautiful days to places like NiaWanda Park, in Tonawanda, NY. Its a little bit of a drive from Depew, but gosh its so nice out. I get a little exercise, some decent food (Mississippi Muds FTNom), and some much needed sun. It's pretty win all around. #snap
