Don’t know who these two tattooed meatheads are, but I’ve seen those thighs
before. I think in a forest somewhere, those tree trunks are massive. The
boys are cute too, even if they be a little hipped out. #snap
Dating Grumpybear led me to realize how destructive and life-sucking World of Warcraft can be. I don’t have anything against that game, just something against the people that ignore everything around them to play it. This poor kid… he’ll live.
An old parking ramp collapsed this afternnon with someone stuck in it. Right now emergency responders are trying to enter in through the chimeney for a rescue attempt. #snap Here’s what happened:
(Via WGRZ) Buffalo, NY – A section of the first floor of the former Hertz Parking Garage at 75 West Huron gave way under the wieght of a 6,500 lb. piece of construction equipment, operated by a 46 year old male who sustained only minor injuries in the incident.
The equipment operator, however, spent approximately 90 minutes trapped before firefighters were able to safely extricate him.
The scene has been secured and is being examined by investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned by Buffalo developer and restauranteur Mark Croce and is part of a proposed hotel and residential complex.

If he (or she, I’m an equal opportunity child laborer) gets to mow the lawn with one of these he better not complain:
Husqvarna, the global leader of outdoor power products, has developed a quiet, powerful and environmentally friendly ride-on mower for the future garden. The concept mower, developed by Husqvarna’s designers and engineers, is made of recycled materials and gives an indication how the future of mowing might come to look.
Growing up, I had to mow three lawns front and back on a rusty old Murray Mower, and was constantly fixing the deck and replacing the blades from the pine/magnolia trees that scattered the lawn like little Anti-Mower-Land-Mines. Ok, so at least I had a rider, but I’ll never have it as easy as kids of tomorrow, with quiet running mowers that you can actually hear your iPod over. My god… I grew up without iPods. what will our kids think of us when we talk about making mixtapes and dubbing off of radio?
Anyways.. Peep a concept video (and some serious future mower specs) of the Panthera Leo after the jump.

Oh Tony. Last night’s SYTYCD showcased the first performances from the top 20. Buffalo’s own Tony Bellissimo was paired up with Paris, and performed a Hip-Hop number choreographed by the amazingly talented Tabitha and Napoleon. Tony seemed cocky and ready to show off (see his above “stink face”). But did he?
The folks at Brightkite updated their Android app to beta 1.2, and in Android-esque fashion, published the link to the binaries in a QR code, that you can scan here. Here’s what’s new:

PicSay, a photo manipulation app, was one of the original applications created for the Android platform. It even won the developers (ShinyCore) $275,000 during the First Android Developers Challenge. Originally available on the market for free, a new “Pro” edition of PicSay has recently been uploaded to the Android Market for only €1.99. The recently disillusioned iPhone-toting bf remarked to me that the iPhone App Store doesn’t have anything nearly that functional for less than $10 dollars.
While the free version is a delight to use, Picsay Pro comes with more, well, everything…

Röyksopp + Robyn + Robots = a pretty slick music video for “The Girl And The Robot.”

I really love Robyn’s voice, and even though her hair makes me giggle, her performance in front of a camera (or stage) rules.

“The Girl And the Robot” is the second single from their latest Album “Junior,” and the EP holds several remixes from the likes of Ocelot, Joakim, Jean Elan, Kris Menace, and Spencer & Hill. The US release for “The Girl And The Robot” is June 16th, do it.
