I could personally care less of the guy, true. And yes.. the tips weren’t bad that night, but sans the incident, they would have been anyways. As for naming names, I was too involved in the situation to remember everyone running back and forth, but I do know that the majority of the unnecessary back and forth between the halls was from queens who were not performing, and a hell of a lot of uninvolved, non performer drag-roadies. Things like ” I have to talk to so and so, and I need to get my this” could have waited the fifteen minutes we needed to get stuff done. besides, i was more shocked by the utter disregard for the blood and when I said watch your step, they continued to traipse through…

I would just like to say that next time i think it would be better if you stated names other than just generalizing if you want to make such a statement as this….”I have a fonder disgust for pompous queers and drag queens.” You have balls enough to say everything else … name names! And it all boiled down to one thing… you were not worried about the guy really … you were more worried about your cut of the money!!

On the ironic side… The guy who was stabbed had tipped the bar over 140 bucks and was buying a LOT of liquor… so I found out that I made a nice cut that night… I guess he prepaid his services…

I read heard about this and instantly was worried about you…holy God you were right in the middle of it. Thank you for being strong and in control when others, so obviously could never have handled it.

Hate to say it, but after midnight Main, Pearl and Chippewa are very dangerous areas. Most of the incidents never get reported. Many never make the news. I used to live in City Center. I saw a lot of bad things happen almost every weekend.

There needs to be a bigger police presence in the area. Not just during peak hours, but up until 5am. The areas demise will be because of the violence. If they don’t feel safe, they will stop coming. It is starting to happen already. The bar owners, politicians and police need to wake up!

Damn, I hope you are alrite. I was going to head out last night to see the pageant, I am happy I didn’t!!! I am sorry to hear this happen and hope it does not effect the life at Marcella that much, but I don’t want to see anything like this to happen again.
