Oh hai! Since Dec 01, 2009, the new FCC ruling took effect, requiring blogs to disclose when they receive money or goods in exchange for words on his/her blog. From time to time I receive products in the mail to try out, and I normally post about my experience. I will always note when something is sent to me, and when I’m being compensated for my writing. I will NEVER post an entry where I praise a product without standing behind my opinion 100%. That means if I like it, I really like it, and if I hate it, I really hate it – no pay for praise here. Also, when I post a contest, I will state who’s dime the prize comes from, traditionally from the company who’s contest I’m hosting.
