CompUSA is liquidating, Buffalo on the axelist

CompUSA informed 128 of its 229 stores yesterday that they will be cleaning out and shutting down. Gordon Brothers Group will take over the fallen stores as of today, with apparently crappy closeout sales to come. The stores were picked based on high rent and the Amherst location was one of them.
The closeout has started, so check this list for the “blowout sale” in Amherst. This isn’t a complete list, so you will have to go for yourself to see what the firesale is like. Bargain hunter beware, Gordon Brothers is notorious for raising prices as the stores they take over go down…
