There may come a time when you need to reset your G1 phone because some jerkbag set your touch pattern and locked you out and you forgot your gmail password and reset it but it didnt sync so you have to reset the whole damn thing. If that ever happens, here’s some handy instructions on what to do…

my wife did the same thing your friend did and locked herself out of her phone. i did what u said for the master reset and the only thing that was refreshed do far were the my faves…even still, i’m glad u posted this info. at least she can use the phone again and its not a big deal to add all of the contacts again. they should still be on the sim card too right?
