Absolut Rainbow Celebrates 30 years of Pride

June 5th, 2008 Posted in Kinda Gay

For 30 years now, the Rainbow Flag has stood as “a sign of diversity and inclusiveness, of hope and of yearning.” While the flag has many meanings across many cultures, it is most widely used as a symbol of pride for the LGBT community. To celebrate diversity and hope for peace among all cultures, Absolut Vodka is releasing their iconic bottle in an iconic design.

Available from Colette Paris till July 1st for €20 or $31.40.

I know that it is indeed totally gay, but I really want that bottle! It would nicely bring together my lush side and my queer side all in one.

    Hi

We interviewed Gilbert Baker - who designed the flag - last week.
